Chemowarrior: The Eli Sidler Foundation
Founded in memory of Eli Sidler, the mission of CHEMOWARRIOR: the Eli Sidler foundation is to find and fund research for better, less debilitating treatments for Ewing Sarcoma, an aggressive and often deadly form of pediatric cancer. There is little funding from the government and national cancer organizations for pediatric cancer research, so it is up to private foundations like ours to step in and help.
An all-volunteer organization, we are committed to giving at least 95% of every dollar raised to research, with an emphasis on those projects that are slated to get results within two years or less and also show promise for treating other types of cancer. Since our inception in 2014, we have raised over $250,000 and helped to fund several important research projects at MD Anderson, Cleveland Clinic and Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
