Childhood Cancer Community
Our Mission:
Childhood Cancer Community exists to provide meaningful connections for families affected by childhood cancer to promote positivity and purpose throughout their journeys. Compassion builds our connections, and by making our presence known, we raise awareness and funding to find a cure.
Our Goals:
To accomplish our mission, we offer many programs that help to meet the needs of families living in, or being treated, in the Midwest, US. We do this through the provision of our “Journey Packs” (backpacks given to newly diagnosed families filled with necessities as they embark on this difficult journey), Monthly Community Nights (provision of personal connections), Special Family Events, an Online Community, Mentorship Opportunities, Hospital Visits, Provision of Resources, Awareness and Research Funding, and more.
